As part of our environmental policy and in particular to reduce the use of all substances containing hexavalent chromium (Chromium VI) in our processes, we are pleased to announce our qualification for:

  • The realization of the special process of OAS thin layer clogged TCS-PACS according to MFT0536
  • The realization of the special CrIII (Chrome III) TCS/PACS conversion process according to MFT0538

 

This qualification was validated by LIEBHERR in March 2022 with the following scope:

Limitations / Special terms: OAS thin layer clogged TCS-PACS according to MFT0536:

- Only on alloys 2024 (sheet), 6061 (sheet), 5086 (sheet), 2024 (machined) & 2618A (machined)

- CrIII TCS/PACS conversion according to MFT0538 by immersion: Only on alloys 2024 (sheet), 6061 (sheet), 5086 (sheet) & 3003 (sheet)

- CrIII TCS-PACS conversion according to MFT0538 in local retouching: Only on alloys 2024 (sheet), 6061 (sheet), 5086 (sheet) & AS7G06

These processes, OAS thin layer clogged TCS-PACS and CrIII TCS/PACS conversion, are the substitution processes retained by LIEBHERR respectively for the OAC clogged with potassium dichromate according to MFT0138 and for the Alodine 1200 Conversion according to MFT0299.
