Held in corrosion: appearance of the white rust after 336 hours and the red rust after 1500 hours.
Try realized according to the NFX 41-002 for a cover of 15 µm with finish CrIII on steel 35 NCD16 degased 8 hours in 190°C).
The position of the alloy zinc-nickel 12-16 % in the scale of electrochemical potential confers it a sacrificial behavior with regard to the alloys of aluminum and to the steels.
The kinetics of oxidation of the deposit explain the low volume of the products of corrosion and allows to protect the quality and the aspect of the long-term deposit.
Its electrochemical potential close to substrata aluminum and steel limits the tension of galvanic coupling what allows assemblies without risk of corrosion.
Hardness: 450HV.
A degassing in 190°C allows to restore to the steel its initial mechanical properties
The coefficient of friction is situated between 0.2 and 0.3 in nude, 0.15 with a treatment lubricating comment-finish (acrylic, hydrosoluble resin loaded in silicates containing a mineral emulsion.
